10 Best Port Dickson Hotels for a Sweet Beach Getaway

We’re searching for the best Port Dickson hotels as we type.

Hari Raya is coming up, Wesak Day long weekend is around the corner, and to tell you the truth, we’ve been busy planning a few quick little escapes to treat ourselves.

If you’re like us and don’t really have the time or energy for long drives just for a short trip, then Port Dickson is one of the easiest beach getaways from KL.

The drive is short, the seafood is good, and who doesn’t like the sea breeze in their hair?

One thing we love about Port Dickson is how many places there are to stay.

Every time we visit, there seems to be a new café, villa, or hotel popping up along the coast. But with so many options, choosing the right stay can get a little overwhelming.

That’s why we put together this list of our favourite spots.

Some are luxury stays with sea views, some are cosy villas perfect for quiet weekends, and some are family-friendly resorts where you can spend the whole day without even leaving the property.

So if you’re planning your next little escape, here are the 10 best Port Dickson hotels and resorts we genuinely think are worth checking into.

1. Grand Lexis Port Dickson

If you’ve ever dreamed of staying in a Port Dickson hotel with a private pool, this is probably one of the first places that comes to mind.

Grand Lexis feels luxurious the moment you arrive. The rooms are huge, the beds are comfortable, and almost every villa comes with its own little plunge pool.

We ended up spending half our trip just relaxing in the room because it was that nice.

The resort sits right by the coast, so you still get plenty of sea breeze and sunset views. It’s especially great for couples, but families love it too because the rooms are spacious enough for everyone.

There are bicycles to rent, a spa, kids’ activities, and even karaoke rooms if you’re going with friends.

Location: Batu 2, Jalan Seremban, Port Dickson
Rooms start from: RM282`

Avillion, a peaceful Port Dickson hotel

2. Avillion Port Dickson

Avillion has such a calming kampung-meets-luxury vibe. The wooden chalets built over the water make it feel a little like a tropical island retreat without needing to leave Malaysia.

Avillion is one of those places where we immediately slowed down the second we checked in. There are peacocks walking around, coconut trees everywhere, and little wooden pathways leading out to the sea.

The beach area here is quiet and peaceful too. It’s not huge, but it’s enough for morning walks and sunset watching. We also loved the spa and the adult-only pool because it felt extra relaxing.

If you’re planning a slower trip where you mostly want to rest, eat, and enjoy the sea breeze, this is a really good pick.

Location: 3rd Mile, Jalan Pantai, Port Dickson
Rooms start from: RM190

3. Thistle Port Dickson Resort

For us, this is one of the best places for families and big group trips. The property is massive, and there’s always something happening around the resort.

The swimming pool here is huge. Honestly, it almost feels like a mini waterpark. There are also tennis courts, arcade games, and beachfront activities, so it’s easy to stay entertained all weekend.

One thing we really liked was how close the resort is to the beach. You can walk there in just a few minutes, and the stretch of sand is surprisingly clean and spacious.

If you’re searching for a lively Port Dickson resort where you can actually stay active instead of just sitting around, this place is a solid choice.

Location: KM16, Jalan Pantai, Teluk Kemang
Rooms start from: RM230

4. Tasik Villa International Resort

Tasik Villa feels very different from most beach hotels in Port Dickson. Instead of focusing only on sea views, this place leans into peaceful lakeside vibes.

The villas are spacious, modern, and surprisingly private. Some even come with jacuzzis or private pools, which makes it really nice for couples looking for a quiet staycation.

We loved how peaceful the whole property felt at night. It’s less crowded compared to some bigger resorts, so you can actually hear the crickets and enjoy the calm atmosphere.

Even though it’s not directly on the beach, the coast is still only a short drive away. Plus, the resort itself already feels relaxing enough that we barely wanted to leave.

Location: Pusat Pelancongan Antarabangsa, Jalan Tasik Villa, Kota Lukut
Rooms start from: RM207

5. Klana Beach Resort

If ocean views are your thing, you’ll probably love this place as much as we did.

Klana Beach Resort sits on a hill overlooking the sea, and the sunsets here are honestly beautiful. We spent way too much time sitting outside just watching the waves.

The resort is also very close to Teluk Kemang and Blue Lagoon, which are some of the nicer beach areas in Port Dickson. That makes it a great Port Dickson hotel near the beach if you want easy access to the coastline.

The rooms are simple but comfortable, and many of them come with balconies facing the sea.

Location: Batu 8, Jalan Pantai, Port Dickson
Rooms start from: RM146

6. Suntai Villa

Suntai Villa feels hidden away from the busy tourist crowd, and that’s exactly why we liked it so much.

This boutique stay sits right by the beach in Pantai Cermin, surrounded by greenery, so the whole place feels peaceful and private. It’s a really nice option for couples wanting a slower, quieter weekend.

What we loved most is each room comes with a terrace with a beach view where you can spend hours lounging.

The rooms have a clean, modern design with white walls, wooden interiors and open spaces.

We also loved relaxing in their dipping pool and enjoying their floating breakfast.

Even though it’s tucked away, you can still drive to the beach pretty easily. We think this place works best for people who care more about atmosphere and privacy.

Location: Pantai Cermin, Jalan Pantai, Port Dickson
Rooms start from: RM280

7. Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson

This is probably the most iconic Port Dickson hotel on the list. The overwater villas shaped like a hibiscus flower have become one of the most recognisable sights in Port Dickson.

And yes, staying here really does feel special. It’s also one of the best luxury hotels in Port Dickson.

Every villa comes with a private pool and direct sea views, so you get that luxury island-resort feeling without needing a passport. We loved waking up to the sound of waves and watching sunsets from our own deck.

The resort also has restaurants, water sports, spa treatments, and buggy services around the property because the place is huge.

It’s definitely more of a splurge, but for anniversaries, birthdays, or special trips, we think it’s worth trying at least once.

Location: 12th Mile, Jalan Pantai, Port Dickson
Rooms start from: RM701

8. Villa Lot 1638

Villa Lot 1638 is one of those places we almost don’t want too many people to know about because it feels so cosy and peaceful.

The rooms here are private and beautifully designed with lots of greenery around them. It has a modern luxury hotel feel minus the hefty price tag that makes the whole stay feel extra relaxing.

This is a great choice if you’re travelling in groups because many of the villas are spacious enough for families or friends. There’s also a pool area that feels really intimate and quiet.

It’s not directly on the beach, but several beaches are just a short drive away, including some quieter parts of the Port Dickson beach area.

Location: Lot 1638, Jalan Pantai Cunningham, Taman Mewah, Port Dickson
Rooms start from: RM329

9. Bayfront Hotel

If you want something simpler and more budget-friendly without sacrificing comfort, Bayfront Hotel is a good option.

The location is convenient because it’s close to eateries, shops, and the waterfront area. We found it really easy to move around from here.

The rooms are modern and clean, which honestly matters a lot for short stays. Plus, some rooms come with nice sea views considering the price point.

This place works well if your plan is mostly to explore around Port Dickson instead of staying inside the hotel all day.

Location: Kampung Bahasa Kapor, Port Dickson
Rooms start from: RM126

Pacific Regency, a good Port Dickson hotel for families

10. Pacific Regency Beach Resort

Pacific Regency Beach Resort has that classic family holiday feeling that many of us probably grew up with.

The resort sits right by the beach, so it’s easy to spend hours by the sea without needing to drive anywhere. Kids can play in the sand while adults relax under the trees or by the pool.

We also liked how spacious the property feels compared to some newer hotels. It gives everyone a little more breathing room.

If you’re searching for comfortable Port Dickson resorts for family gatherings or school holiday trips, this one is definitely worth considering.

Location: Jalan Pantai, Port Dickson
Rooms start from: RM220
