Does the Car Need to Be Towed?
In case of severe accidents where the car is undrivable or damaged, a towing service is required to transport the car elsewhere for necessary actions. It is very common that you’ll get approached by a number towing services asking if you need any help.
However, these towing trucks may not be SOCAR’s authorised towing vendors. So what should you do?
After reporting the incident to SOCAR’s Customer Support via Live Chat and taking other necessary steps, our team will head out to the scene to support our towing vendors. It is important on your part to recognise which towing vendors have the authority to take care of the car.
SOCAR Authorisation Card
Our authorised vendors should carry an authorisation card that permits them to take care of a SOCAR vehicle. The card can be shown to either PDRM or other towing vendors as proof that they are authorised by SOCAR. Any towing vendors who cannot present the card are not permitted to manage the SOCAR vehicle. Should you need our vendors to clarify, please request for their authorisation card.
